Synopsis
Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy follows Makoto Misumi, an ordinary Japanese high schooler summoned to a fantasy world—only for its goddess to dismiss him as too plain and banish him to a barren frontier. Stranded far from human society, Makoto discovers immense magical potential and begins building a life among dragons, demi-humans, and other outcasts who see him differently than the humans who rejected him.
What starts as a survival story grows into a tale of diplomacy, commerce, and unintended influence as Makoto navigates a world where gods, heroes, and powerful factions all pursue their own agendas. Across the light novels, manga, and anime, the franchise expands from his personal journey into a broader conflict over coexistence and the balance between worlds, while keeping its tone playful through Makoto’s deadpan reactions and the eccentric allies who gather around him.
The series blends adventure and comedy with questions of identity and belonging.
