Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!!

Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! stands out as an original TV anime and a seventh spin-off in the long-running Yu-Gi-Oh! line. Its 151-episode run gives this individual series room to develop its own identity through a lively mix of card-game action, science fiction, fantasy, and alien-themed adventure.

The experience is colorful, energetic, and centered on a primarily child cast, with twins and spacefaring ideas adding a playful sense of discovery to its battles. Viewers looking for a kid-friendly anime with a strong card-game focus may find it approachable, while the available English dub offers an easy way to watch.

Twins Yuuhi and Yuamu Oudou take over their parents’ business, the Alien Trouble Consultancy, where they investigate reports of extraterrestrial activity. Yuuhi hopes to find an alien he believes stole his treasured Earthdama, while Yuamu approaches their work with a more practical outlook. Their search leads them to a mysterious spaceship hidden in a forest.

Inside, they meet Yuudias Velgear, an alien from the Velgear Star Cluster who has come to Earth to learn about Rush Duel, the popular card game. The twins and Yuudias form an unlikely team as their separate goals draw them into encounters involving aliens, card battles, and conflicts that reach beyond Earth.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! is an original Japanese television anime animated by Bridge. It was produced under the Studio Dice, Shueisha, TV Tokyo, and KONAMI copyright group, rather than being adapted from a listed manga or other source material.

The series began airing in Japan on April 3, 2022, and concluded on March 30, 2025. Its completed run contains 151 episodes, with TV Tokyo providing the official program site and confirming that the broadcast has ended.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! is an original television anime in the larger Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, not an adaptation of a manga. It is identified as the franchise’s seventh spin-off anime and stands as its own 151-episode series, rather than a remake or a continuation of an earlier show under the same title. Its 2022 to 2025 run places it among the franchise’s later anime entries.

The series is closely connected to Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens through its setting and shared Rush Duel framework. Available franchise information places GO RUSH!! before the events of Sevens, so it functions as a related prequel-era spin-off rather than a direct sequel. This connection gives the entry a defined place in the anime continuity while allowing it to focus on its own original cast and science-fiction setting. As a result, viewers can approach it as a separate television story within the broader franchise, with Sevens providing the most relevant adjacent context.
