Synopsis
This twelve-episode continuation follows Rimuru Tempest and the monster nation of Tempest after the immediate danger from the Falmuth Army and the Western Holy Church has passed. The country celebrates its survival, but the wider political situation remains unsettled. Rimuru, now awakened as a True Demon Lord, must decide how Tempest will protect itself while dealing with powerful neighbors and demon lords.
As Tempest meets with its allies to discuss the nation's future, troubling reports about Milim Nava and Demon Lord Carrion add new uncertainty. Rimuru can count on the revived Storm Dragon Veldora and the support of Raphael, along with other trusted comrades, but the threats are not limited to the battlefield. The story follows Rimuru's growing responsibilities as a ruler who must balance diplomacy, strength, and the safety of his people.
The main conflict centers on Rimuru choosing to act against Clayman, the opponent orchestrating several dangers facing Tempest. Instead of waiting for the next strike, Rimuru begins to move against enemy forces and the wider network of manipulation around them. This part of the season focuses on that campaign and on Tempest's attempt to secure its place among the world's major powers without revealing how the struggle ultimately ends.

Production Background
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 Part 2 is a 12-episode television anime released in 2021. It adapts material from the light novel series written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah, with animation production by Eight Bit. The installment continues the second season and is cataloged as an individual work within the larger franchise.
The part began airing on July 6, 2021, and each episode runs about 24 minutes. Its story follows the aftermath of the Falmuth Army and Western Holy Church attack, including Tempest's celebrations and alliance meetings, Milim Nava's suspicious behavior, and Carrion's disappearance. Rimuru Tempest, now awakened as a true demon lord, moves against Clayman with the revived Storm Dragon Veldora and the Ultimate Skill Raphael.
An English dub is available, and the work has been offered through streaming services including Crunchyroll, Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Bilibili, and Bilibili TV. The light novel origin places it in the isekai, reincarnation, and fantasy traditions, while the second season part structure makes it a distinct broadcast installment within the anime adaptation.

-
Step 4
Move on to Season 3 afterward, with the announced fourth season and the theatrical films to follow once available.
-
Step 5
Treat comedic and side-story spinoffs such as Slime Diaries, along with game and anthology material, as optional extras that can be visited at any point after the first season.
