Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest

Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest follows a high school class summoned to a fantasy world to become heroes. While most classmates gain powerful abilities, the protagonist is mocked for a seemingly useless skill and is soon left for dead in a monster-filled labyrinth. Surviving through desperation, he reforges himself into a ruthless, pragmatic fighter and begins climbing toward strength, gathering unlikely companions who share his goal of returning home. The world is filled with dungeons, warring nations, and divine machinations, and the journey becomes as much about overcoming trauma and betrayal as about defeating monsters.

The franchise expands across light novels, manga, and anime, with the main story continuing through multiple seasons and volumes. A prequel, Zero, explores an earlier era and the origins of key conflicts, while comedic spin-offs and short stories offer lighter alternate takes. Sequels and side stories broaden the cast, deepen the world’s lore, and show how the protagonist’s transformation ripples across allies and enemies alike.
