Synopsis
Naruto follows Naruto Uzumaki, a loud, stubborn young ninja of the Hidden Leaf Village who grew up shunned by his neighbors because a powerful nine-tailed fox spirit was sealed inside him at birth. Determined to earn recognition, he dreams of becoming Hokage, the village's strongest leader and protector.
Assigned to Team 7 alongside the gifted Sasuke Uchiha and the determined Sakura Haruno under the laid-back mentor Kakashi Hatake, Naruto takes on missions that steadily expand from local errands to battles touching the entire ninja world. Rivalries, friendships, loss, and the question of how to break cycles of hatred drive the story as hidden organizations and old grudges threaten the fragile peace between nations.
The saga widens with Naruto Shippuden, which follows the characters into adulthood, and then with films, novels, and side stories that explore other characters and periods. The sequel Boruto: Naruto Next Generations passes the focus to the next generation, following Naruto's son and his teammates as they inherit both the legacy and the conflicts of their parents' era.
